It may only be Tuesday, but Karl Lagerfeld is having one stellar week. First, the designer was tapped to shoot the next Pirelli calendar (read: gorgeous naked women).

Then, this morning, Kaiser Karl finished up his fashion week season with Chanel's Fall 2010 collection, showing all the cool girl (literally) looks against a spectacular iceberg backdrop.

Now, the 76-year-old designer is being honored for all his good style deeds by the French government.

Lagerfeld will be decorated as a Commander of the Legion of Honor, reports Vogue UK.

Not only does the official-sounding title go well with Lagerfeld's fashion royalty status, but it will presumably benefit the First Lady of France, Carla Bruni's wardrobe.

The designer -- infamous for shunning curvy women, then embracing them -- is joining the ranks of Giorgio Armani and Valentino, both have received the honor in the last decade.

And just as he is in fashion, Karl is apparently quite the over-achiever in real life. The legion of honor status has five classes and the German-born designer skipped straight to third tier Commander .

That's a step below Yves Saint Laurent's Grand Officier, but, hey, when you're talking about government-appointed honors, who's counting? (OK, I guess we are.)

Lagerfeld is also one busy multitasker -- he's the creative head of three fashion houses: Fendi, Chanel and his namesake collection, and still makes time to go behind the lens.

Cynthia Rowley: Always a bridesmaid? At least for now.

Rowley has entered into a partnership with the Dessy Group to create a collection of bridesmaid dresses inspired by her ready-to-wear collection.

Set to hit bridal stores in June, the collection will have many of the design elements Rowley's clothes are known for like tulle skirts and drop-waist silhouettes.

The floor- and tea-length dresses will be appropriate for both day and evening weddings.

"We wanted to bring a chic sensibility to bridesmaids dresses -- a look that is pretty yet sophisticated," Rowley said in a press release.

Dresses in the 20-piece collection will retail for $175-$220, making them a designer steal.

And though every bride says, "You can wear it again," when forcing her bridesmaids into Pepto pink dresses, now the statement may finally hold true.

Rowley is not completely new to the bridal industry; she has designed one-of-a-kind dresses for private clients and friends.

And what goes perfectly with Cynthia Rowley's new collection? Why, none other than the designer's shapewear.

Bergdorf Goodman is being Wu-ed.

Jason Wu is designing a limited edition capsule collection to be sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman and on its Website starting May 14.

Wu chose to work with Bergdorf Goodman because the high end department store has long been a supporter of his collection.

"Bergdorf Goodman is one of my largest supporters -- this collection is the natural next step with them," Wu told StyleList.

"Being available in store and online speaks to the way we do business right now. Online is just as important as being in-store."

The line will consist of eight cocktail dresses, inspired by the best-selling styles and fabrics from his past few seasons, made new. The dresses will be "American" in style, favoring yellow, red and navy, and will have defined waists and emphasized shapes. Prices will range from $1,150 to $2,990.

"It's a capsule of my signature collection and is meant to hang alongside my regular collection," Wu explained. "It is a complement to the Jason Wu collection."

The designer has been on an upward trajectory since just before his gown was chosen by Michelle Obama for the inauguration.

That extra push has made this designer a household name and provided him with numerous opportunities to dress the first lady.

In fact, Wu spoke to StyleList from Washington D.C., where he was appropriately taking part in the donation of Mrs. O's iconic inaugural gown to the Smithsonian Institution.

"It didn't dawn on me until this morning that I was going to meet the first lady. It was amazing," he said with awe in his voice. "It's pretty extraordinary to be a part of American history."

Jason Wu also has a line in collaboration with Tse cashmere.

Ever wonder how celebs who have to wear buckets of makeup for on-air time or personal appearances keep either breakouts or serious dryness at bay? They usually have a routine that they stick to and likely a coterie of estheticians and dermatologists who tend to them as well. In the case of the Kardashian gals -- Kim, Khloe and Kourtney -- the PerfectSkin three-step system is the answer.

While the products haven't officially launched yet, the system is touted to meet the needs of all three women, despite their different skin types. According to scientific researcher and dermatological expert Dr. Ron DiSalvo, Senior Scientist at Perfect Science Labs, the developers of PerfectSkin, "As women who are constantly in the spotlight and juggling hectic schedules, the Kardashian sisters need a skin care system that's as simple, as it is effective."

With the actual types of products and the active ingredients still under wraps, we can only speculate that the ladies wouldn't lend their names to just any old skincare company. "I have literally tried everything out there and nothing even comes close to PerfectSkin, " says Kim Kardashian. "It's easier and more effective than anything else I've tried, and they are the only skin care products I use."

So when will the Kardashians' skincare secrets be revealed? We asked the brand's publicist for more information and were thwarted with a "wait and see" response. And there's no PerfectSkin website. After a little of our own digging on Dr. Di Salvo, we found that he has a long history in the beauty industry, at companies including Redken and John Paul Mitchell as well as a skincare company called Amaza that seems to specialize in anti-aging products.

From the little we know about the PerfectSkin three-step regimen, we're hedging our bets on it being a Proactive type of project, maybe even involving an infomercial.

What we do know for sure is that all will be revealed sometime this spring, so stay tuned!

"Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl debuted a new brunette hairstyle this week.

The new mom is known for her golden locks, which have run the gamut from a frosty almost-platinum to a deeper honey shade. Heigl did flirt with auburn hair at one point, but ultimately went back to blonde.

Whatever her color, Heigl's hair always had that warm, tell-tale tone of naturally dark hair that's been lightened, so we figured she'd go back to her roots eventually.

Verdict: We like the rich new chocolate look. And whether or not this is her "natural" hair color, it looks very natural on the star. Heigl is lucky that her light, peachy skin can carry many shades.

Set to debut April 3 on the shopping network, the collection will have a "London chic" aesthetic, encompassing blouses, jackets and bold handbags, according to the press release.

So, what exactly constitutes as "London chic"? Think mock-croc watches, adorable candy pink suede peep-toe pumps, colorful studded handbags, a silver disco-style belt and sporty spring-ready tennis shoes in black, white, pink and blue, for a start.

"I am excited to partner exclusively with HSN and draw on the network's expertise in building brands," the model says in a statement. "This collection will be my first launch in the US.

"It makes dressing easy and age-appropriate. No matter how old you are, you can always look stylish and on trend."

No kidding. Since her '60s heyday, the 60-year-old Twiggy has kept busy with a stint as a judge on "America's Next Top Model," as well as numerous modeling gigs for the likes of Olay and Marks & Spencer.

"We are thrilled to have international icon Twiggy join HSN," says Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSN, Inc. "Her addition reinforces our strategy of bringing in brand partners who are style icons in their field and can bring to life their lifestyle brands.

"We look forward to seeing a fashion symbol like Twiggy engage with our customers and share with them her inspiration behind Twiggy London."

As do we. Tune in to HSN at midnight-2am, 11am-1pm and 9pm-11pm ET on April 3 to see the goods, which will reportedly retail for a budget-friendly $29 to $99.

The price is right -- let's just hope the sizes are, too! They didn't call her Twiggy because she liked climbing trees.

It's official: Lindsay Lohan and Emanuel Ungaro have parted ways, WWD reports.

Yesterday, we reported on Lohan's no-show at the label's Paris runway show, where both Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah and designer Estrella Archs claimed that the starlet artistic adviser was "not involved" with the collection.

Now, we have it straight from the horse's mouth.

"I don't work for them anymore," Lohan told the press as she hit up Kenzo's front row. "There's legal things going on; I can't really discuss it."

There you have it, folks. Apparently Lohan's relationship with the fashion house has dwindled to merely a Spring (2010) fling, producing the label's much-reviled collection.

Lohan's departure comes just months after Ungaro CEO Mounir Moufarrige -- who reportedly had no comment when contacted by WWD yesterday -- resigned from the company. At the time, execs declared that the actress would be staying on with the brand.

They thought wrong!

Let's just hope this breakup goes more smoothly than the Samantha Ronson one.

With Gilt Groupe's new wedding sale, you can avoid the wedding dress sample sale crowds and save big bucks on that Vera Wang.

In collaboration with Martha Stewart Weddings, the virtual shopping event will take place on Gilt Groupe's site, March 12-14. The company that built its name on amazing online designer sample sales for women, has since expanded to include men's and home, but this will be its first ever specialized offering for stressed-out fiancées.

Launching this Friday, March 12, at noon ET, the discounts will last through the weekend, though, we doubt the amazing dresses will.
